The creator economy consists of people who make money with their creative talents, typically using digital platforms to connect with their audiences. But how big is the creator economy? The size is hotly debated and many argue who “counts” as part of the creator economy; however there’s no denying how it’s steadily growing and its incredible impact.
Some estimate the worth of the creator economy at $104.2 billion as of mid-2022 (per Insider Intelligence). Other sources like The National Endowment for the Arts and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis claim the creator economy is significantly larger. They claim the creator economy contributes more than $763.6 billion to the U.S. economy—more than the agriculture or transportation divisions.
